Matt Andrea

Matt Andrea is an investment banker who lives and works in Washington, DC.  In his free time, he enjoys photography, travel, gastronomy and oenology.   Matt fell in love with Ethiopia through his daughter Marie Claire, who went there in 2006 to study Amharic.  He has visited Ethiopia twice in the last year and is eager to return.  Matt is currrently involved with two non-profit organizations working in Ethiopia:  Ethiopia Reads ( www.ethiopiareads.org) and Children of Ethiopia Education Fund (www.coeef.org). He helped promote and document the Mesgana Dancers' 2007 Millennium Tour, which helped raise funds for both organizations.  Some of Matt's photographs from the tour can be seen on the Mesgana Dancers' web site (www.mesgana.com/content/view/52/53/).
